Edition Notes: Lithograph printed in black or sanguine. For the"Album des peintres-lithographes de Manet á Matisse", an edition size of 525 impressions. A deluxe edition of 50 loose leaf impressions were also printed on oriental paper.
First state: no lithographed monogram; 35 impressions printed in black, ten printed in sanguine, signed by the artist; wide margins; fifty prints on Imperial Japanese paper for de luxe edition of "Album".
Second state: lithographed signature below left; fifty prints on loose lead China paper, making up double set for the deluxe edition; 525 prints for the ordinary edition.
